Responsible for collecting and delivering the guest laundry, ensure safety, cleanliness and organization of the uniform room. Regularly inspect proper cleaning of linen, terry, guest cloths and uniforms and highlight to the Laundry Manager/Executive Housekeeper. Responsible for maintaining the inventory of the Linen and Uniforms.

Clock in wearing uniform.
Responsible for the control of all laundry and linen items which includes staff uniforms and to provide constant update to the Laundry Manager / Executive Housekeeper.
Ensure that the linen/laundry work and distribution area are clean and kept tidy during the shift; this is to include uniform storage, linen storage and guest laundry storage.
Ensure that all linen is in perfect condition, correctly ironed and stain free and all linen, towels and mats are correctly stored hung or folded according to the required standard.
Conduct minor tailoring activities on damaged linen items and on guest/staff laundry according to requirements. Monitor the tailoring work done by external tailor’s receipt of items ensuring that it has been carried out as per request.
Monitor all guest linen replenishments on a regular basis as laid down by the Laundry Manager/ Executive Housekeeper. This is to include bed, bathroom and shower linen, bathrobes and any other item as stipulated from time to time.
Ensure to check any damages on guest laundry before processing.
Check all pockets to see any valuable items or money left in the garments.
Ensure all laundry with correct room number and guest name.
Inspect guest room linen while sorting, check for any guest belongings. Perform the sorting by item wise and record a proper count of each item, verify the count upon receiving from the external laundry. If any discrepancy report accordingly to the Laundry Manager.
To be aware of Health and safety regulations of the laundry.
Inspect all linen items that have come from external laundry facilities including dry-cleaned items; guest and staff laundry, linen, drapes and any other items as done from time to time. Closely monitor the external laundry’s services and ensure accurate accounting for services provided.
Maintain records of all damaged items which are not re-usable and report the same to the Laundry Manager.
Report any valuables found in linen or laundry items of guest or staff directly to the Laundry Manager/Office coordinator.
Directly control, check and coordinate all documentation, reports and information as required or requested by the Laundry Manager/Executive Housekeeper.
Assist any other assignment given to you by Laundry Manager / Executive Housekeeper.
